Having gained significant experience in this field and interviewed many students, Archi-Europe came to the conclusion that the most significant award for students in architecture definitely is a top class traineeship in a leading architecture practice.
This is the reason why we asked all our members of the Jury, in the framework of the Archi-World® Academy Awards, to give the opportunity to the 12 winning students (all carefully evaluated by the Jury) to perform a traineeship in their practice for a minimum 4 months stay.
But Archi-World® Academy goes further! The 1000 best projects will benefit from a special online visibility on www.archi-europe.com allowing the work these students to be seen by our 187.000 architect members and numerous visitors!

| MADA - Mosbuild Architecture and Design Awards |

MosBuild (2-5 and 10-13 April 2011) is proud to launch its first international contest in architecture. The competition is open to young architects (max 45 years) and students in architecture worldwide. The projects may be carried out individually or in groups, with no restriction on the number of members of the team. It is possible to present a project made by a team but you have to mention the team leader since in case of prize award, he/she will be the one invited to the fair.
Projects can be presented in the following topics:
* Solutions for disabled people or people with limited abilities
* Sustainable and Energy saving solutions in new buildings as well as challenging projects of renovation

| 2012 Mock Firms - International Skycraper Challenge |

Entering its 4th year, the Chicago-based Mock Firms Architectural Competition is already highly regarded on the landscape of student-based design competitions. The Mock Firms model aims to help facilitate the formation and function of simulated-architectural design firms by collegiate and secondary school students. The desired outcome is to foster collaborative and cooperative educational experiences which may better prepare participants for a workplace environment which values these and similar values. This competitive event continues to bring together some of the best and brightest talent from the U.S. and around the world. Additionally, these future design professionals are given the unique opportunity to interact with the industry's leading designbuild professionals as they pitch their design concepts directly to them receiving immediate feedback and evaluation of their work.

| 'INTERNATIONAL VELUX AWARD' 2012 |

The International VELUX Award 2012 encourages sustainable ideas and solutions considering not only new buildings but also the existing building stock in cities as well as in suburban residential areas. The Award is looking for proposals that combine a clear energy strategy with a specific focus on the health and well-being of people living and working in the buildings.
