JMP's Bond Street Station gets the green light
Westminster City Council has granted John McAslan + Partners' Bond Street Crossrail east station planning permission.

JMP's design is an integral part of the Crossrail development and when completed in 2018, passenger numbers are expected to increase to 225,000 daily compared to the 155,000 who currently use the station each day. The planning decision follows last month's favorable comments from CABE about the scheme.
Commenting on this news Hiro Aso, Director at JMP said:
"We are delighted that our design for Bond Street Crossrail station has got the green light from Westminster City Council. The decision recognises how our vision for the station responds to the project's sensitive and prominent site, whilst introducing a structure that has its own distinct personality, incorporatiing a striking colonnaded pavilion."
